Dance performance by Luca Valeri & Pamela Babst from Zürich, Switzerland.

Concert and dance to live orchestra Monday 29/12 at 20 - 01.
We have the pleasure to introduce for the first time in Norway: Silencio Tango Quartet from Basel, Switzerland. They will first play one set for concert at 20 pm, and later play two long sets for dancing. All the instructors will dance a performance. The price for the whole evening is 150,- kroner.
Silencio Tango Quartet consists of four young professional musicians from Buenos Aires, Montevideo and Europe. What they want most, is to play good music for dancing. Most of the members are themselves passionate tango dancers, and are often seen in the local milongas. Silencio was in a way formed in a milonga. The pianist and the original violinist got to know each other on the dance floor. Together they had the idea to form a band that plays tango for dancing on a high level. In style, Silencio plays music like the well known orchestras from the forties, with special emphasize on the style of Carlos Di Sarli. See also:

It can't be heard, but can be felt in the couple.
Luca & Pamela

Luca & Pamela
J Ochos in suspension Do we have to close the legs every time we do an ocho?
Of course not. Very difficult, but we love it.
Luca & Pamela
K Baridas On of the dancers "hooks" the foot of the other, and moves it to another place. It can be exactly that, or it can be an illusion. We show you how. Jørn & Sissel
L Boleos Is it possible to do a boleo very slow? Yes! If we can do that, we can
do it in every way: slow or fast or slow and fast at the same time.
Luca & Pamela
M Turns for the salon Turning in a crowded salon without bumping into other couples? We show you some nice and smooth solutions that keeps your dance flowing! Unni & Mike
N Milonguero style We just enjoy to do very long steps in a close embrace. Luca & Pamela

P Milonga 2 We work with quick repetitive steps, also called "Milonga traspie". Jørn & Sissel
Q Vals Dynamical turns in the wonderful vals feeling. Luca & Pamela
